The clinic

The clinic is doctor led, and every session is run by a trained clinician on a genuine BTL Emsella chair. We are CQC registered, and our registration is held at our group's Harley Street address; every appointment is here at 8 Devonshire Place. Our patients have reviewed the clinic on review.clinic, the review service we use, where Emsella at our clinic holds 4.9 out of 5 from 107 reviews, with 98% saying the treatment was worth it (November 2026).

Devonshire Place runs south from Marylebone Road, close to Harley Street, with Marylebone High Street a six-minute walk away for a coffee before or after a session.

Your first visit

Your first visit is a free consultation. The clinician goes through your symptoms and what you have already tried, asks you to fill in the ICIQ-SF questionnaire so there is a score to compare at the end. The clinician also checks the things that rule the chair out: a pacemaker, a defibrillator or any electronic implant, metal implants in the pelvis including a hip replacement, a copper coil, pregnancy or planning one, or the first three months after a birth, pelvic or abdominal surgery that is still healing, an untreated cancer, being under 18, or a prolapse at stage 3 or above. You can sit on the chair. You leave with the course and its price in writing; there is no pressure to book on the day. Wear whatever you like; you stay fully clothed, and there is nothing to prepare.
